This whimsical artwork was created in early September of 2015, long before Donald Trump became the Republican presidential candidate, and well over a year before winning the November 2016 election.
Rhe was inspired by the cartoonish atmosphere during the debates – and Trump's ability to insult mostly everyone. Even "flipping the bird" ...to Big Bird... and the relevance it continues to mirror today, on myriad levels.
This painting was featured on the cover of Sunday’s New York Times in 2017 on Labor Day Weekend.
