Due to the unique nature of purchasing original artwork online, my #1 PRIORITY, above all, is that you absolutely love what I have created and which you now own.
On this website I have done my best to accurately represent each and every piece offered, and will gladly furnish more images or information should you need further clarification. Transparency is key here, for this work is directly from my heART.
For those who may be interested in seeing the original art "in real life" before committing to buy, I am able to offer appointment-only viewings in Manhattan, New York City. This would require at least a two-week advance booking.
If any government-issued Covid-19 mandates are set during the time of the visit, they will be adhered to for the safety of all.
A point of purchase sale of artwork may be made during this time via Shopify, or also payable by Zelle, Venmo, and cash. Tax is required on all artwork purchases.
For original artwork:
I have a case-by-case return or refund policy, which means any return, if requested within 2 weeks, to be individually reviewed as to its validity. Because art is so highly personal, I cannot fathom what would constitute grounds for a return, unless of course the item is damaged upon arrival.
For this reason, not only do we take extensive care when packing up the art, but also fully insure the artwork for its full purchase price when shipping through our trusted carrier. However, in the very rare instance an item might get damaged upon transit, we will require images of both the exterior box as well as the piece to determine and take further steps in order to refund the purchase price of the artwork.
For prints and other products: I have sourced only the finest third-party printers to create the signed prints, wearable art, and novelty products. I trust their full guarantee of quality, and back it up with my own. If however, your item is in some way flawed, manufactured unsatisfactorily, or damaged upon arrival, we will need images of proof in order to generate the refund. I understand things can happen, so we will absolutely work with any situation should this occur. Any item returned must be in the same condition that you received it, in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

In the event a return is desired, contact us at rhe.de.ville.art@gmail.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.
Refunds: We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
